Dr. Raymond Ellul (Director)

Dr. Ellul obtained his B.Sc. in Chemistry and Physics in 1976 and M.Sc. in 1978 from the University of Malta. He subsequently obtained his Dr. Rer. Nat. working at the Max Planck Institute fur Strahlenchemie in Mülheim/Ruhr, Germany.
He has researched on several subjects both in Germany and in the UK and has worked for two companies developing scientific instruments before joining the University. In 1993 he spent a sabbatical year at the MPI/Mainz whence arose his present interest in Atmospheric Research. He has around 43 publications.

Dr. Ellul currently lectures on Mechanics, Atomic Physics and Atmospheric Physics.
 
Mr. Martin Saliba

Mr. Saliba graduated B.Sc. (Maths and Physics) from the University of Malta in 2004. Following his interests in Environmental Science, he is currently reading for an M.Sc at the Atmospheric pollution research unit.
 
Dr. Hans Güsten

Born 1931. First degree (Diplomarbeit./M.Sc.) 1952-1959, University of Mainz. Dr. Rer. Nat. from the University of Karlsruhe 1960/64.1965/87 - Institute for Radiation Chemistry Karlsruhe; 1998/97 - IMK, Research Centre Karlsruhe; 1968/69 pd Palo Alto, California Stanford University. Presently Consultant in Atmospheric Chemistry to Karlsruhe, Malta. Awarded Van der Ginten Prize for Atmospheric Physics 1975; Helmholtz, prize for 'Novel Ozone Sensor'. Expeditions and campaign measurements in Egypt, Greece, Yugoslavia, Italy, Malta, Mauritius. About 200 publications.
